CBSE cuts down syllabus from class 9th to 12th amid COVID 19


CBSE ( central board of secondary education) has issued new guideline regarding the syllabus of secondary and higher secondary classes. The newly revised list of the syllabus has been updated on the official site of CBSE. Following this NCERT affiliated Schools 22 states for the session 2020-21deleted courses by 30 %.

"The prevailing pandemic in the country and at different parts of the world the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the loss of classroom teaching due to the closure of schools. Therefore CBSE has decided to revise the syllabi for Classes 9 to 12 for the academic session 2020-21," said the notification.

A month ago, the HRD minister had said that the central government is mulling over the alternative of decreasing the syllabus and instructional hours for the coming scholastic year.
